ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY PERU NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY.
More than just words.
One of our main objectives as a company is to help preserve and protect natural sites in danger of destruction. Regarding the environment, tourism can be part of the problem or part of the solution, and we strive to promote the type of trip that is part of the solution: small scale tourism and low impact respectful of local cultures and the local environment.
These are complicated issues, and we do not pretend to have all the answers, but we are committed to doing business in a way that encourages and promotes the preservation of the natural environment. This is really about ecotourism, the planning and execution of our trips involves a long supply chain: from guides, transport, hotels and restaurants, committed to the sustainability of the environment and the reduction of the use of plastics, minimizing our presence in visited places or without leaving traces of our presence.
It is also important in this business to know what to avoid. We do not promote the type of mass-scale tourism that can overwhelm the local culture and change their ancestral customs and traditions. We promote low-impact, small-scale tourism that respects the local environment.
Not only do we speak with words, we actively support the conservation and restoration of native forests in collaboration with communities in the places we visit, collecting a percentage of our profits and earmarking them for cleaning activities or the collection of waste and plastics.
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, let us know. We are always looking for ways to more effectively manage our environmental and social impact and appreciate your input.
