Important information for the kayak tour!

  • You do not need experience with kayaks.
  • We will have a professional instructor in a kayak.
  • We will at all times a motorized boat and support staff.
  • We have safe, comfortable and professional kayaks.
  • Approximate kayaking (1 hour) from the island Estebes to the floating islands of Uros.
  • We have single and couple kayaks.
  • Average water temperature in the lake 9th.

Day 1: Puno: Kayak Uros – Amantani
We pick you up and transfer from your hotel to Esteves island at approximately 7:00 am, where we will receive all the instructions of the guide and the use of professional kayak equipment, necessary to make proper use of the adventure equipment, after this  safety talk we will paddle towards the floating island of the Uros, this tour lasts an average of 1:30 full of spectacular scenery typical of Lake Titicaca At all times we will be accompanied by an instructor or professional kayak guide and a motorized boat for support. During the trip we will appreciate the biodiversity of Lake Titicaca (Flora and Fauna), as well as having the opportunity to know and appreciate the reed that is the raw material of the construction of the floating islands of the Uros. Finally when arriving at the Uros, we will have a warm welcome from the local people, where the guide will give us a complete explanation of this fascinating living culture. After our tour of the floating islands of the Uros we will take our motor boat to go to the island of Amantani where we will have a resepcion by the host family, who will provide us the lodging and the feeding sharing unforgettable experiences with the traditional families of area.

Day 2: Taquile Island to Puno
We take the early breakfast in the picturesque house of the family, where we begin the trail to towards the main square of Taquile (all the route is a moderate hike), here we will visit the Taquile main Plaza. Our tour continues walking around the town and appreciate the alive culture showing us this amazing island. Taquile is famous and declared by their tissues by UNESCO as "Cultural Heritage of humanity” having your option to buy some of those handmade. After lunch in Taquile return to Puno city by 03:30 pm to take you to your hotels.
